On October 25 ^th, 2012, the lead multipurpose salvage vessel “SPASATEL KAREV” (Yard Number 701), capacity 4 MW, project MPSV07, built by Nevsky Shipyard LLC, successfully completed the acceptance trials.

As a result of the trials it was found that the vessel is in full conformity with the project and the specification. She shows specification characteristics and the vessel is ready for service. Special attention was given to vessel stability test at different loading. The vessel showed excellent characteristics in accordance with design calculations made by the designer - Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC. It should be emphasized that the vessel is operated at backward run.
