Many years of close and friendly relations have connected Nevsky Shipyard and State Marine Technical University of Saint-Petersburg. The proof of this is another visit of some groups of the University students from different countries at the Shipyard.

Many students do practical training at Nevsky Shipyard as part of longstanding cooperation. The graduates work at the Shipyard. The University shows big interest in expansion of contacts with the Shipyard.

The students of the University and Aleksandr Dogadin, Head of Shipbuilding Technology Department and professor, visited the main workshops, slipway and saw building vessels. The Chief shipbuilder led the tour around the Shipyard and answered numerous questions of the students.

The students thanked the organizers of the meeting for interesting day and expressed the willingness to develop special projects for improvement of technological process for the Shipyard.
