Nevsky Shipyard cooperates with the Higher Educational Institutions for education and carrying out of practical training of “Shipbuilding” and “Ship power units” departments students. This is long and fruitful cooperation.

In June 8 students of Schliesselburg technical College of Water Transport the speciality of whom is “Shipbuilding”, underwent practical training at Nevsky Shipyard according to the contract about skilled labor force training.

From July to September 2014, 6 students of third and fourth years of State Marine Technical University of Saint-Petersburg, 2 students of Volga State Academy of Water Transport and 8 students of Novosibirsk State Academy of Water Transport underwent practical training at Nevsky Shipyard.

For the students it was the first training at big shipbuilding enterprise. Firstly they had a tour of the Shipyard, saw production workshops, the processes of shipbuilding and outfitting. The students underwent training in production workshops such as hull production, in technical and design department under the direction of experienced specialists and foreman. They were involved in work at once, practically helping in production.
