At the end of September 2019, an official delegation from Turkmenistan led by the trade representative of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan - Alexander Elizarov visited Nevsky Shipyard. The delegation also included representatives of the shipyards of Turkmenistan, ports, transport and logistics and freight forwarding companies.

Chief builder of Nevsky Shipyard conducted an excursion around the shipyard for the guests, told about the technical capabilities of the company, the orders being built, and shared plans for the future.

Currently, a series of four MPSV12 salvage vessels, a series of five dry cargo vessels of RSD59 project are under construction at the Nevsky Shipyard and two cargo-passenger vessels of PV22 project are held.

The guests praised the scale of the enterprise, noted that the shipyard is high-tech, meets all industry standards.

As a part of the meeting, a discussion was held of the possibilities and areas of cooperation in the field of shipbuilding and ship repair between Russia and Turkmenistan
