A vessel with hull number 703 is always in a hurry to help those in need. Vessel №703 was named the SPASATEL Zaborschikov.

Zaborschikov Mikhail is the most revered and respected person, both in the Baltic squad and in the entire Russian maritime rescue service. At the end of 1975, in the closed part of the sea channel, after a collision with an oncoming vessel, the ship "Joseph Dubrovinsky" began to sink. There is a risk of blocking the channel. Divers, led by Zaborshchikov, with a risk to their life, patched up the ER, and then the hold of the sinking vessel, floated it, eliminated the threat of blocking the port. For this operation, M. Zaborschikov was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. No matter where Zaborschikov worked, he was always a model of a rescue sailor, an informal leader, the soul of a team. Many Baltic BASU rescuers, masters of the highest qualification, passed Zaborshchikov’s school and proudly call themselves his students. Mikhail , by his own example, instilled in them high moral and volitional qualities, without which a real marine lifeguard would not take place.

The vessel "Rescuer of the Zaborschikov" - for its "life" participated in many different operations: The MPSV «Spasatel Zaborschikov» took part in the exercises at the anchorage of the seaport of St. Petersburg, towed the Oleg Strelchenya dredger along the Northern Sea Route, towed the Vitim dredger, and took part in emergency response exercises in the Vostochny port , ensured the evacuation of the injured member of the crew of the SRTM “Pilgun” on Sakhalin, was engaged in the search for the fishing vessel “Vostok” in the Sea of Japan, together with MASS “Spasatel Zaborschikov” provided icebreaking assistance for vessels in St. Petersburg and the Far East, took part in search and rescue operations in the Tatar Strait and much more.
