Pavel Leonov arrived at the port of registry "Korsakov"

Pavel Leonov cargo-passenger ferry, built at Nevsky Shipyard (part of JSC USC), arrived at the port of registry in the south of Sakhalin

The second vessel of PV22 project Pavel Leonov arrived in Sakhalin. Unlike the lead vessel of PV22 project, Pavel Leonov made sail to Sakhalin along the Northern Sea Route - the shortest sea route between the European part of Russia and the Far East. The ferry covered more than 10.69 thousand kilometers, the voyage took a little more than 30 days.

It is planned that Pavel Leonov service will start this fall and she will operate on the route Korsakov - Kurilsk - Yuzhnokurilsk - Malokurilskoye - Korsakov, where the lead ship "Admiral Nevelskoy" is already operating.

According to calculations, as soon as both vessels are put into operation, the turnover of passengers and cargo on the Kuril line will triple.

The construction of PV22 project vessels was carried out by order of Sakhalinleasingflot JSC within the framework of the program “Social and economic development of the Kuril Islands for 2016 - 2025”.
