Sea tanker "Akademik Pashin" returned to the home port of Murmansk
The medium sea tanker "Akademik Pashin", built at Nevsky Shipyard (part of JSC "OSK") for the Russian Navy, returned to the home port of Murmansk from a long-range cruise of the Northern Fleet ships.
During the cruise in the Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea, the tanker's crew performed the tasks of supplying the large anti-submarine ship "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" with fuel, water and food, both on the move and during anchorage.
23130 project tanker "Akademik Pashin" is the largest vessel ever launched during the more than a century history of the Nevsky Shipyard. At the moment the construction of the second 23130 project tanker "Vasily Nikitin" is underway at Nevsky Shipyard. She was named after the head of the Central Directorate of Rocket Fuel and Fuel of the USSR Ministry of Defense Vasily Nikitin (1914-1994).
