During 19-21 of May 2010, Nevsky Shipyard was an exhibitor at the first international Forum Marine Industry of Russia which took place in Moscow, in Exhibition Hall “Gostiny Dvor”. Among organizers of the Forum were Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, RUIE, leading industry associations, Ministries and Agencies, and MegaExpo. The Forum was dedicated to matters of shipbuilding, upgrading of ports, development of navigation, introduction of innovative techniques in the field of marine machinery and building civil ship. Due to the fact that the interest to the given Forum was a big one, there is a hope that the Forum will become one of the major annual industry events.

Nevsky Shipyard together with the shipyard «Okskaya sudoverf» represented the shipbuilding sector of the Holding «Universal Cargo Logistics Holding».

Over 200 participants from 20 countries visited the Forum. Every day the stand of Nevsky Shipyard was visited by a big number of registered participants as well as by interested visitors. The main topics for discussion were: organization of construction of various objects at the Shipyard facilities, supply of the equipment and materials for both shipbuilding and ship repair. At the same time such issue as education and training of the personnel was also paid much attention to, as well as the quality of  coverage of the activities of enterprises of the industry in the Mass Media.
