On June, 17-th Nevsky Shipyard welcomed the group of Norwegian top-managers who undergo training at the enterprises of St.-Petersburg and Leningrad region.

Training of the Norwegian top-managers is arranged by the St.-Petersburg interregional resource center which carries out the Presidential Program of training managers for national economy enterprises of the Russian Federation.

Top-managers from Norway, whose business is associated with shipbuilding, have expressed a wish to undergo training at Nevsky Shipyard:

Jaakko Isotalo,  the Owner of the company «NORVERFT AS» specializing in shipbuilding, section assembling and servicing of vessels.

Anders Haneborg, Director General of the company «Hansen Protection AS», the main business of which is production and sale of working wear.

The main aims of the training included:

- contact-making with  Russian shipyards
- search of partners in the field of shipbuilding
- consideration of possible investment projects
- sale and delivery of special equipment
- opening of the representation office of the foreign companies in territory of the Russian Federation

At the beginning of the visit to the Shipyard the managers were given brief information about the history of the Shipyard and the town of Schliesselburg where the Shipyard is situated. Then, having been provided with an overview of Shipyard’s business lines and the program of modernization and technical upgrading of production facilities, visitors took part in meetings with representatives of the Shipyard and discussed matters of interest.

At the end of the meeting top-managers thanked the representatives of the Shipyard for a possibility to visit Nevsky Shipyard, and expressed hope that the meeting would develop into long-term and mutually beneficial co-operation.
