Representatives of Nevsky Shipyard took part in the events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Mourning.
June 22, 1941 is one of the saddest dates in Russian history.
80 years ago, on this day, the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) began, the liberation war of the peoples of the USSR against Nazi Germany and its allies. Fascist Germany attacked the Soviet Union without declaring war. On this day, the peoples of Russia mourn for all compatriots who defended their Fatherland at the cost of their lives.
The Shipyard employees paid tribute to the memory of the fallen. They took part in a meeting - a requiem dedicated to the Day of Memory and Mourning in Komsomolsk park in Shlisselburg. With a minute of silence, the Shipyard workers honored the memory of all the defenders of the Motherland and civilians who died, laid flowers at the monument to the victims of the occupation.
Afterwards, the employees of the enterprise visited an interactive exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War “Shlisselburg. From capture to victory "
