On May, 17th of this year a Keel Laying procedure for the third in a series multipurpose salvage vessel «SPASATEL ZABORSHCHIKOV», yard number 703, capacity 4 МW, took place at Nevsky Shipyard. The vessel is being built in accordance with the Design Project MPSV07 developed by «Marine Engineering Bureau-Design- SPB», JSC.
According to the State Shipbuilding Contracts signed in 2009 Nevsky Shipyard carries out the construction of three serial multipurpose salvage vessels, yard numbers 701, 702 and 703.
The keel laying of the head vessel (yard number 701) took place on the 22nd of September 2009 and keel laying of the second vessel (yard number 702) took place on the 6th of April 2010.
The vessel will have the following class of Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping: КМ Arc 5 1 AUT1-ICS OMBO FF3WS DYNPOS-2 EPP Salvage ship
The State Customer of the vessel is Federal Marine and River Transport Agency.
The Customer – The Direction of State Contractor of Marine Transport Development Program.
