On August 31st, 2013 the vessel «NEVA-LEADER 5» dwt 7150 t set off on builder's sea trials. The self-propelled dry-cargo vessel «NEVA-LEADER 5» (yard number 405) is being built at Nevsky Shipyard for North -Western Shipping Company, JSC. The project RSD49 is developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.
The feature of the vessel (compared to all other projects of «Volgo-Don Max» class) is the existence of a large middle hold in fifty-two meters length, which makes it possible to transport “design” oversize and heavy-lift cargoes in one-way voyage Europe-Caspian Sea.
