Nevsky Shipyard laid the keel of self-propelled car and passenger ferry

 Solemn keel-laying ceremony of the self-propelled car and passenger ferry for crossing the river Svir in urban-type settlement Voznesenye of Podporozhsky district in Leningrad region, project 2967/3132, took place in the covered shed of Nevsky Shipyard on October 7th, 2014.

The construction of the vessel is being carried out in accordance with the Contract signed in this August with Automobile road department of Leningrad region. The project is developed by Engineering Centre of Shipbuilding, JSC.

There was a traditional christening of the base section of the self-propelled car and passenger ferry during the ceremony. After that honourable guests secured the Keel-Laying Board to the base section.

The representatives of the Customer, classification societies, contracting and design organizations, equipment and materials suppliers, the representatives of mass media participated in the ceremony.
