On June 04, 2019 the lead medium-sea tanker «Akademik Pashin» of 23130 project and the lead frigate «Admiral Kasatonov» of 22350 project are completed refueling tests on the high seas, as reported by Mil.Press FLOT.

Refueling worked out during the sea trials of the frigate and tanker. The tests have met with success. The frigate and tanker are continuing sea trials now. Academician Pashin will provide logistical and replenishment support at sea to the Russian Navy’s fleet of ships, including surface ships and submarines. The tanker will carry diesel fuel, fuel oil, aviation fuel, motor oil and water, besides food and dry cargo, and can conduct replenishment at sea (RAS) missions with other ships
