Nevsky Shipyard restores  tanks for Victory Day

2020 is declared to Russian Federation for Year of memory and glory in commemoration of the 75 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Since April 19, 2020, as part of preparations for May 9th, restoration of the exposition of four modern tanks  “Heirs of the Heroes”, has been ongoing in the territory of the "Breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad"  Reserve museum. Since exhibits are allowed to be touched, the paint from the tanks erases more actively and they quickly deteriorate.

The works are carried out by Nevsky Shipyard with the assistance of 61 Armored Repair Plant.

Previously, Nevsky Shipyard repeatedly restored tanks from the collection of the “Breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad” Museum-Reserve and other memorial sites of the Leningrad Region.
