The motor ship is intended for pleasure trips on inland waterways of the Russian Federation, including Ladoga and Onega Lakes as well as the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea with 10 VIP passengers onboard.
The dimensions of the above water part of the vessel allow she to pass under undrawn bridges of Saint-Petersburg.
The vessel can be operated in rough water with wave height of 2,5 m.
The endurance of the vessel by fuel and provision stores is 5 days.
The range of sailing with full stores is approximately 1500 nautical miles.
The runabout vessel “Neva” was built on order of North Western Shipping Company, JSC.
The vessel was delivered on July,1st, 2010.
The project is developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.
In accordance with customer desire the vessel was designed as contemporary version of passenger water buses of the 50s-60s such as «OM». That old-fashioned exterior hides up-to-date equipment, extended operating capabilities and high comfort.
The vessel represents steel, twin-screw motor ship with raked stem and cruiser aft end. Two high-speed diesel engines «Mitsubishi» are used as the main engines with capacity of 215 kW each and situated in the middle part of the vessel. Auxiliary propulsion plant consists of two 80 kW «Kohler» diesel generators.
The fore end of the vessel is equipped with 5 cabins for comfortable passenger’s accommodation. 3 of these cabins are high comfort.
The interior design of the motor ship is «Stalin Empire style» with its attribute of monumentality and splendour.
In the middle part of the vessel there is a block of premises for sauna. The saloon and the walking deck are equipped in the aft superstructure for the passengers’ rest. The square of the saloon is 55 sq. m.
Maintenance of comfort temperature, air humidity and also organization of uninterrupted circulation of air masses are provided by integrated conditioning and ventilation system with separate control in each accommodation.
Modern equipment and automatization allow to steer from the navigation bridge by one crewmember. The Around View Monitoring system ensures vessel and passengers safety.
